Tiania the capital city of the dwarfs

Let me present you the city of Tiania.

It is the capital city of the dwarfs and the residence of their great king. The correct name from Tiania is actually Khazad Tian (the mine in the mountain Tian) but because dwarfish is a difficult language, it commonly is just called Tiania. If you're trying to pronounce Tiania in dwarfish it would sound like: “Kharrsad Thiayn“. The city is built up and in a huge stalactite in the middle of a great lava lake.

On the picture you can see, that there are three great bridges away from the city. The left bridge goes to the great hall which is located at the entrance of the mine (city). The right one goes to the temple hall of Vacrass, the god of the dwarfs. He represents the earth and the power of the world. Also, the temple of Pyros, who is the god of the fire elements. The bridge in the back area goes to the large mine where the dwarfs found Arcardium, which is the hardest metal in the Legend of Alandur). In the language of the dwarfs, it is called Varcrasium. Normal Iron such as Paladium (the good metal) and Tionium (the bad metal) can also be found here. All three metals are necessary for the earth to produce Varcasium.

In the lower area of the stalactite is the large forge. This is the area, where lava flows out from the face of an old dwarfen figure. In the lava itself, there lives the old dragon Ivanex, who is sent by the draconians for an alliance between dwarfs and draconians. The dwarfs need the fire breath from the dragon (which is the only thing that is hot enough) to melt Varcrasium, so they are able to process this ore to make armor and weapons out of it. For the services of the dragon for the dwarfs, Ivanex gets food and a place to live. He is like a god to them.

In the middle area is the throne room (which looks like a skull), Greatking Powter Hammerfist rules over the dwarfs and the cities of the dwarfs. You can have a look at their location here:

Every dwarfen city is a kingdom for itself. Every single one of them has its own king, but the overall ruler is the greatking.

In the upper area, there is the palace of the greatking and the living area of the dwarfs. The blue cave ceiling is a mushroom-like cave which glows in the darkness and can bee seen in the front of the picture, where a child tries to pick up on of these.

Tiania was not always the capital of the dwarfs. Long time ago there was a mountain called by the dwarfs Basum. But by an insidious attack of the Albaen (dark elfs) the was city lost. But the dwarfs hope, that the day of their return will come.
